Join, share work and get in touch
Tradie uses your RiskyMate account. Work issued by agencies through RiskyMate stays in the RiskyMate contractor portal. Already a RiskyMate contractor? Activate Tradie in the portal. It reuses the details already on your account.

Create an account, then add the business, ABN, insurance and any required licence. Access opens when those checks pass.
- 2Set your trades and service area
Record the trades you do and the states or postcodes you cover. Tradie uses that service area to keep each state separate.
- 3Share work and get in touch
Post work available or work wanted. Other tradies in your state can see it and message you.
Verification is checked. Each state stays separate.
A verified badge means RiskyMate has checked the contractor record. Licence and public liability badges appear only while that check is current. Tradie does not show licence numbers, phone numbers, email addresses or street addresses. You only see tradies who cover a state you cover.

Tradie community guidelines

Tradie is for verified trade businesses that share a state. Message verified tradies who work in your state. You do not need a separate connection first.
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. That includes harassment, threats, hate, sexual content, scams and anything that puts a person at risk.
RiskyMate can remove content and can suspend the Tradie access of a business that breaks these guidelines.
Report a notice, a tradie or a message from the item itself. Block a tradie when you do not want to see them or hear from them. A block hides both sides.
We aim to review reports within 24 hours. Write to adam@riskymate.com if you need a person at RiskyMate.

Is Tradie free?
Yes. Free for tradies. You can post opportunities, find other tradies and send private messages without paying. Free includes five quote, job report and tax invoice workflows each week. Download, print or manually attach the PDF to an email yourself. Unlimited workflows, automatic sending and scheduling require paid or qualifying promotional access. Xero costs extra. Optional SOS monitoring details are being finalised. Nothing starts charging automatically.
Who can join?
Australian trade businesses can join from any state. Add your business details, ABN, trade, service area, insurance and any required licences. RiskyMate checks these before opening access. RiskyMate rental-property compliance work is only available in Victoria and NSW.
Do I need to be verified?
Tradie opens after active ABR registration is confirmed and the insurance and any required licence are present and in date. An unavailable ABR check remains pending. Documents are checked for presence and expiry, not authenticity. Reading the public page does not require an account.
Can I see tradies in other states?
No. Tradie keeps each state separate. You see verified tradies who cover a state you cover, and they see you on the same basis.
What can I do with my own jobs?
With Free, create up to five quote, job report and tax invoice workflows a week, using the same document templates as paid. Print or save PDFs and send them yourself. Paid or qualifying rewarded access adds unlimited workflows, automated sending and scheduling. Both use the same Job run, with actions relevant to each stage. Optional SOS monitoring details are being finalised. Where enabled, SOS records an internal RiskyMate incident, does not call 000 and is not professional monitoring.
Does Tradie give me property jobs?
Tradie lets other tradies share work and opportunities. You can respond to posts and arrange the details directly with the other business. It does not guarantee jobs or give you agency work. Rental-property jobs and their private details stay in RiskyMate.
How do I report or block someone?
Open the notice, profile or message and choose report or block. Reports are reviewed by RiskyMate. We aim to review reports within 24 hours. You can also email adam@riskymate.com.
Is there an app?
Tradie uses the same RiskyMate sign-in. It opens in the browser and in the RiskyMate iPhone app when that app is installed. Tradie has its own contractor-facing website at tradie.riskymate.com and uses the same RiskyMate account and portal.
